1-1/2 Inch Nylon Insert Male Adapter Barb by Male Inside Pipe Size. Nylon male insert couplings are used with polyethylene (PE) tubing in buried cold water applications only, such as irrigation, residential lawn sprinkler systems, water service pipe, and swimming pool installations. Nylon insert couplings adapts polyethylene tubing to standard female pipe threads. PTFE thread tape is recommended for threaded joints. Join to PE pipe with stainless steel Hose Clamps. Nylon insert fittings meet FDA and NSF standards.
