Triple zinc, manufactured of 18 gauge galvanized steel, eliminates toe nailing and secures wood post or columns to decking using twelve 16d nails or lag bolts, attaches to concrete using lag bolts Secures nominal sized post to wood surfaces offering some lateral and uplift resistance. May be used only for intermediate posts between fully anchored corner/end posts in rail system. Not Recommended for fence posts or other unrestrained (not fixed or fa stened at top) applications. Not designed to resist overturning (moment) loads. Requires 16d HDG fasteners for post and 16d HDG fasteners for base. Meets ICBO 2039 and L.A. City RR23888 codes.
