Polypropylene Insert Male Adapters are used with polyethylene (PE) tubing in buried cold water applications only, such as irrigation, residential lawn sprinkler systems, water service pipe, and swimming pool installations. Adapts polyethylene tubing to standard female pipe threads. PTFE thread tape is recommended for threaded joints. Insert fittings join to PE pipe with stainless steel {{category_link id=48378}}. Plastic Insert Fittings meets ASTM D2609.
