Steel octagon boxes 4 inch - drawn construction with conduit & cable clamps
Orbit Industries 4 in octagon (4O) welded boxes are used in the installation of light fixtures and other electrical devices in walls and ceilings. They are constructed from 16 ga galvanized steel. The 1-1/2 in deep, welded boxes include metal clad clamps for ease of installation. Selected models include a bracket or bar hanger for a range of applications. With non-metallic sheathed cable clamps. With ear brackets. Two 1/2" conduit knockouts and four cable knockouts, (sides). One 1/2" conduit knockout, (bottom). Can be used in the installation of ceiling or wall lighting fixtures or as a junction box. Not d esigned for ceiling fan support. 50 pound maximum recommended static load. 1-1/2" deep, 15.5 cubic inch capacity. Acceptable for use in 2-hour fire rated walls. UL Listed.
