The unit has a precision factory-assembled chain drive system that provides long and reliable performance. The precision machined motor and gearbox are greased and sealed from the environment for long lasting, reliable performance. The unit is lightweight with a strong and rigid 5-piece tube rail system that requires no assembly hardware for quicker installation. The garage door opener features Genie's"SmartSet" programming making for fast and essy setup with the simple push of a button. For added security, the Chain Drive 550 is enhanced with"Intellicode" security technology that changes the access code on each door activation to help prevent unauthorized access.
