The H7 recessed housing is the standard in the industry for both commercial and residential applications. The wide variety of trims available allows a number of different lighting effects to be created with one basic housing. H7ICT is for installations where the housing will be in direct contact with insulation. H7ICT may be converted into AIR-TITE??? installation when used with AIR-TITE??? trim. For use with 120 volt Incandescent lamps. Aluminum construction for greater heat dissipation. For installations where housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. Integral thermal protector guards against misuse of insulation materials and i mproper lamping. Adjustable socket bracket assures proper and consistent lamp positing. Junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has seven 1/2" knockouts. Slide-N-Slide connectors allow non-metallic sheathed cable to be installed witho ut removing knockouts. Pre-installed captive bar hangers allow housing to be positioned at any point within a 24 inches joist span. Can be field shortened for 12 inches joist.
