Porch screening base, vinyl, black, size 1-1/2 inch by 8 feet. 1-1/2 inch by 8 foot black screen tight base attaches to 2x4 or 4x4 wooden frame screen spline rolls into the spline groove cap snaps onto base. Made of durable outdoor grade vinyl. May use fiberglass or aluminum screening. Can be cut with utility shears or tin snips. Paintable. No mitering. Uv protected. Screen (not included) is rolled into place and cap (not included) snaps onto base and evenly tightens the screen without the use of staples, lattices, nails, or loose screens. Base attaches to existing framing with wood screws or roof tacks. Has prepunched holes at 8 inch increments. 1-1/2 inch base is used to accommodate 2 inch by 2 inch framing. Recommended spline sizes are: Fiberglass screen -.175 inch, aluminum screen -.160 inch.
