Shipping Charges:

UPS and FEDEX: In all 50 States HardwareAndTools.com uses a live zoned lookup for UPS and FEDEX shipping rates. The prices we charge are the published UPS or FEDEX service rates, including the carriers fuel surcharges, based on our estimated packed or dimensional weight. Surcharges due to dimensions or weight are marked on selected products and included. From our Shopping Cart simply enter your postal code to get a freight quotation. At checkout, if you enter a UPS qualified business address in your ship to information, the residential UPS rate charge from the estimate will be replaced with a lower UPS Commercial Rate.

USPS Priority Mail is an alternate shipping method, primarily for PO Boxes, Military Addresses, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and some rural areas. It tends to be very costly on heavier shipments. Postal packages DO NOT track en route. We supply a delivery confirmation number on all non APO USPS Priority Mail. We do include an insurance fee in our charges for all USPS orders.

Freight Saver or Free Shipping is available on over 100,000 products for online orders starting at only $60. It is valid to Street Addresses in the 48 Contiguous United States. 10 lbs Ship Free at $60, 20 lbs Ship Free at $100, 30 lbs Ship Free at $150 and 40 lbs Ship Free at $200. An additional 20 lbs is allowed to Ship Free for each $100 added to your order, up to a maximum of 1200 Free lbs.
In the Eastern States any additional weight over the free allowance is charged at $.02 per ounce or 32 cents per pound. Based on shipping zones we consider the following 22 States and District as EAST: CT, DC, DE, GA, IN, KY, ME, MD, MA, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VT, VA, and WV.
In the Central States an additional weight on all orders is charged at $.03 per ounce or 48 cents per pound. Based on shipping zones we consider the following 15 States as CENTRAL: AL, AR, FL, IL, IO, KS, LA, MN, MS, MO, NE, ND, OK, SD, and WI.
In the Western States an additional weight on all orders is charged at $.04 per ounce or 64 cents per pound. Based on shipping zones we consider the following 12 States as WEST: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, NM, OR, TX, UT, WA, and WY.

All carriers charge an "Additional Handling" charge for 60 inch and longer packages, add shapes and over certain weights or dimensions. We include those charges in all freight options. We basically charge it one time per item, regardless of quantity ordered. For example there may be a $10 surcharge for shipping one piece of long trim molding or 24 pieces of the same molding. This enables us to carry more items where we can pass the product savings on to our customers.

Orders under $60 for smaller items may select Freight Saver Flat Rate Economy Shipping to Street Addresses in the 48 Contiguous United States. The rate will appear in your cart if it is lower than the zoned UPS rate. The rate is $5.50 per order plus 4 cents per oz.

All Freight Saver Orders ship by our choice of carriers at their lowest service levels. All orders specifying UPS, FEDEX or USPS pack and ship before Freight Saver Orders. We do NOT recommend Freight Saver if your order is time sensitive as it may delay your order a couple of days. Freight Saver Orders ship on a time available and space available basis without special overtime. FREE FREIGHT and FREIGHT SAVER is a LIMITED TIME OFFER - VALID FOR ONLINE ORDERS ONLY - NO MAIL OR PHONE ORDERS. It is subject to change or end without notice.

In the event of a return on any Freight Saver order, you are responsible for the full UPS or USPS shipping charges both ways. The difference between UPS and the Freight Saver you are paying is calculated and shown in your shopping cart.

Products marked "Ships at UPS Zoned Residential or Commercial Rates" are Not Free Freight Saver products. They are intended to ship separately from other products. If you add these products to a qualified Freight Saver Order of $60 or more, the products will add the Freight Saver Adder, shown on their product page. That adder is per individual product. You may save by checking out heavier unqualified items separately.

Orders shipping to Canada are subject to duty and brokerage charges, not included in our shipping charges on site. The customer is responsible for duty and brokerage fees. While some smaller items can ship by Canadian Postal Services, most are delivered by UPS. DO NOT ORDER ITEMS BANNED BY CANADIAN CUSTOMS, i.e. insecticides. It is the customer's responsibility for confiscated items. If uncertain about the legality of a product in your locale, check first.

At present we do not ship outside of the US, US Possessions, APO and Canada. We will ship larger Commercial Quotation Orders to your US freight forwarder. However all orders must be prepaid in US funds and require a US contact phone number for delivery.
