Energy smart compact flourescent bulbs have been specially designed for easy retro-fit in incandescent sockets. These bulbs are known for there outstanding energy savings and have a much longer lifetime than standard incandescent bulbs. Flourescents for the most part are not recommended for use with dimmers.

Ge 26-watt (100-watt equivalent) energy smart spiral t3 light bulb can save up to $59 in energy costs. It lasts 10 times longer than a 100-watt regular soft white bulb. Ge energy smart bulbs provide the same light as a soft white bulb while using fewer watts. Fits table lamps, closet lights, and other standard fixtures. Guaranteed to last 5 years based on 4 hours use per day at 120v. Electricity cost savings are based on rated life of 8,000 hours compared to 10 100-watt soft white bulbs (rated life 750 hours). Energy savings are based on 10c per kilowatt hour. Reliable starting to -10of(-23oc). Lamp requires a short warm up period to reach full brightness.
