The Pro-Lab® Professional Pesticide in Water Test Kit is an inexpensive, safe, easy-to-use and reliable method to test for dangerous pesticides in your water and get accurate results instantly. Our Pesticides in Water Test Kit utilizes patented laboratory grade test strips for accuracy and reliability. Pesticide ingestion and inhalation can damage internal organs, cause cancer, and eventually death. The World Health Organization estimates that one-half of the ground and well water in the U.S. is contaminated with pesticides, resulting in 20,000 deaths per year. Pro-Lab’s instant do-it-yourself test monitors water for hazardous levels of pesticides. Testing for pesticides should be done annually. Check your water for pesticides in faucets, private wells, home purification systems, reservoirs, lakes and streams, municipal water systems and more. To use: simply open the foil pouch and remove all the contents. Each test kit contains one pesticide test strip, one sample vial and one eye pipette/dropper. Using the dropper, place five drops of the water sample you are testing into the sample vial. Then, place the vial on a flat surface. Place the pesticides test strip into the sample vial with the arrows pointing down for a period of exactly ten minutes and do not disturb. Blue lines will start to appear on the test strip, indicating that the test is working. Take the test strip out of the vial and read the results at the ten minute period. This test has been laboratory tested for accuracy and meets all EPA & state requirements. |
