The kit is an EPA approved laboratory test that will accurately and reliably test your water for lead contamination to 1 ppb (parts per billion) – EPA standard is 15 ppb. It utilizes laboratory atomic absorption spectrometer via graphite furnace and offers the most accurate results. The kit includes a plastic non-breakable test tube, protective mailing tube, a pre-paid postage envelope and information form. To test: simply fill the vial with water, and send it to our certified laboratory with the pre-paid postage envelope included in your kit along with any required lab fee. We will send you a professionally documented lab report revealing the amount of lead in your water to as little as 1 ppb (EPA Standard is 15 ppb.), within one week, of our receipt of your test sample.
