Duckbill hooks of one-piece drop forged steel and ground to fine point 7/16" x 7/8". Ductile iron cast clasp is open at top and drawn tight by bolt, eliminating need for a bolt hole through handle. Heavy steel swivel allows free movement, permitting timb er passage through narrow areas. Designed to handle logs 3" to 16" in diameter. Handles turned in a 2-1/2" diameter in four 4-1/2' lengths of white mountain hickory or rock maple, air dried to 18 percent moisture content. Painted hardware, clear lacquer f inished handle. Replacement handle no.09341. Note: flexing load in a perpendicular direction of grain could cause handle fracture and result in personal injury.
