The key mechanism, bi-metal coil, fully enclosed in protective cover. Stainless steel compression spring with 1 adjustable screw for easy installation. 65 square inch net free area. High-density thermo-plastic construction. Stainless steel and corrosion resistant metal parts. Heavy-duty aluminum mesh screen, front and back. No electrical hook-up required. 8 inch by 16 inch .

Missed the Mark Only one of the four closed when it should. The others were still open at 16 degrees. Design is flawed and does not provide for adjustment from the front by the user. There is obviously no calibration done prior to shipping or I would not have experienced a 75% failure rate.

quality product Quick to install. I used adhesive caulk along with masonry bolts to secure it to the foundation wall. I recommend this product

Witten Automatic Foundation Vents Takes some time and effort to install, but will work well for years. Very attractive in appearance to the old wire screen vents. The Witten vents eliminate the need to cover the foundation vents every year. I recommend this product
