IF I WANTED TO HEAT A REC ROOM 14L X 24W X14H HOW LONG WOULD IT TAKE APPOX. ALSO HOW MUCH ELECTRIC WOULD I USE? I HAVE GAS HEAT WITH 4 FLOOR VENTS WE ONLY OPEN WHEN WE GO OUT THERE. It is hard for me to say how long it will take to heat your room. Some rooms will heat faster that others depending on the conditions of the room. Also, we can't calculate cost. I don't know how often it will have to be on to maintain the set temperature. Energy cost are different everywhere.Answered on 12/30/2011 by Greg from VA
