These bulbs are known for there outstanding energy savings and have a much longer lifetime than standard incandescent bulbs. Fluorescents for the most part are not recommended for use with dimmers.
GE 26-watt (100-watt equivalent) energy smart spiral t3 light bulb can save up to 59 dollars in energy costs. It lasts 10 times longer than a 100-watt regular soft white bulb. GE energy smart bulbs provide the same light as a soft white bulb while using fewer watts. Fits table lamps, closet lights, and other standard fixtures. Guaranteed to last 5 years based on 4 hour consumer use per day at 120v. Electricity cost savings are based on rated life of 8,000 hours compared to 10 100-watt soft white bulbs (rated life 750 hours). Energy savings are based on 10c per kilowatt hour. Reliable starting to 5 degrees f [-15 degrees c]. Lamp requires a short warm up period to reach full brightness.
